Rental Buddy is the daily operations board for bed & breakfast and short-term rental hosts running one to fifteen rooms or apartments. Every unit shows a clear status: ready, occupied, needs cleaning or out of service, together with who is staying, what is broken and what was done, so a host or co-host knows the state of the property without walking every hallway. Calendar links from platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo are combined into one timeline alongside long-term leases, so reservations, move-ins and maintenance blocks never overlap unnoticed. Checkout raises a cleaning task built from a per-room checklist, and marking an item broken or missing creates a repair job in one tap. Printable room cards let guests join the Wi-Fi, open the house guide or report a problem by scanning a code, with nothing to install. Rooms, tasks, notes and history live in private data collections tied to the site, with no external servers or databases. Every change is written to an append-only log, so nothing is silently overwritten, and a dashboard assistant can answer questions about room status and setup on request.
